Fall is just around the corner and we’ve been bustling around the store finding room for all the prettiness flooding into Forty Winks.   Here are the items that are currently tempting us….

I grew up in Maine so I’m a bit biased towards its rocky coasts and crystal clear night skies.  I do think however, that anyone who attended the  wedding we did,  this past weekend would agree that there really is something special about getting married next to a clear-as-glass-lake surrounded by trees that weren’t planted by a gardener.

It was in such a setting that my dear cousin Sarah wed her long time love “Del”.  The ceremony was truly beautiful (tears of joy all around) and the following reception was a total blast.  We danced for about 6 hours straight and now I can barely lift myself off our bright yellow couch here at Forty Winks.

All of Forty Winks and a lot of Mint Julep was in attendance.
